This notice explains how Clubbit uses information when you visit clubbit.app or join its waitlist. It covers this website and waitlist, rather than the future mobile app’s separate features.
What we collect
- Your email address, signup time, subscription choice and email delivery status.
- Your referral code, the referral link used to join, referral count and waitlist position.
- Campaign or source tags included in the link you visit, such as a social-media campaign.
- Private session and return-link tokens used to let you view your place securely. For abuse prevention, the waitlist uses a hashed network address and temporary request counters. Our hosting provider also processes technical request data needed to deliver and protect the website.
Why we use it
We use your email, with your consent, to send the Clubbit launch notification. We also use your information to manage your place and referrals, send a private return link when you request one, prevent duplicate or abusive signups, and handle delivery problems. Joining is optional. You must tick the email-consent checkbox to join this waitlist.
Where applicable, consent is the basis for the launch email. Our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable waitlist is the basis for essential administration and abuse prevention.
Who receives it
Clubbit’s authorised administrator can manage waitlist records. Render hosts the website, and Resend is used to deliver waitlist emails when email delivery is enabled. These providers process the information needed to provide their services. Your email is not displayed in the public previews or shared with other waitlist members. A referral link contains a code, rather than your email address.
Providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy information describes their processing and safeguards: Render privacy policy and Resend privacy policy.
Cookies and previews
Your optional language choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. Automatic language selection uses your browser’s language preference; it does not send that preference to a translation service. An essential first-party cookie remembers your private waitlist session for up to 30 days. Administrator sessions last up to eight hours. Requested private return links expire after 15 minutes. The waitlist does not set advertising cookies. Venue pins, forecast hours, review highlights and vibe reports on this landing page are demonstrations; clicking them does not submit a live venue review or report.
Crowd data in the app
Busyness, crowd and vibe figures shown on venues in the Clubbit app are anonymous and aggregated. The app never shows anyone’s individual or live location to other people. If you choose to post a vibe report, it appears on that venue with the name and photo from your profile.
How long we keep it
Waitlist records remain while needed to operate the waitlist, maintain referral positions, honour email opt-outs and resolve delivery issues, unless they are deleted by the administrator. Unsubscribing stops launch emails but does not automatically delete your record. Expired private sessions and return-link records are removed when the waitlist processes requests.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw email consent using the unsubscribe link in your launch email. To ask for access, correction or deletion of your waitlist information, reply to a Clubbit waitlist email and identify the email address you used to join. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your data, and complain to your local data-protection authority.
